Cotonpoo/Pooton Puppies for Sale

Cotonpoos, or Pootons are a cross between a Coton de Tulear and a Miniature or Moyen Poodle. Other names include CotonNoodle, Doodle Ton, and CotonDoodle. A cotonpoo is a new designer breed that can be hard to find and is in high demand.  Not only is this a super cute breed, but is full of life and has a cheeky character you will fall in love with. If you haven't considered a cotonpoo, you need to check ours out!

Waitlist

Size

Depending on the parents, our cotonpoos will weigh around 12 to 15 pounds or 17 to 25 pounds. We consider this a perfect size; a sturdy pup that is suitable for both apartment living or the hardy lifestyle of a family with children.

Appearance

You can expect a red, champagne, or white color with a thick, wavy coat. There are some possibilities of white on their chin, forehead, chest, and/or feet. Their coats can be described as cotton-like and compared to a malti-poo or poo-chon puppy. Both coton de tulears and poodles are considered to have hair instead of fur, making them hypoallergenic, non-shedding, and cuts down drastically on pet dander; perfect for a family with allergies.

Personality

You can expect your cotonpoo puppy to be very intelligent, loyal, and attentive; making for easy training. They are ready to please. Sociable, easy going, and laid back can describe them as well. Your cotonpoo will be exceptional at meeting and playing with other pets, making a pooton a great 1st or 2nd pet. Of course, every puppy has a different personality, just like every person. This is why we want to help you pick your pup that best fits your lifestyle.

Activity Level

Your cotonpoo pup will need a moderate level of exercise daily. A 30 minute walk will suffice their activity needs, but you will be amazed at the endurance a cotonpoo has. Your puppy will be up for long walks, hikes, and lots of adventures, but still is content with a short play session in the backyard. Pootons can be perfect for someone who is perhaps not as physically able as others to take dogs out for exercise. Bonus: Cotonpoos love water!

Health

Pootons are generally healthy! Pootons may be prone to certain health conditions that affect their parent breeds. Nevertheless, since the pooton is a mixed breed, often they benefit from hybrid vigor, which can result in fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs. The average lifespan of a Poo-Ton is typically between 12 to 15 years. With proper care, exercise, and regular veterinary check-ups, they can live a long and happy life. We have veterinarians who have adopted our puppies. Other veterinarian specifically recommend pootons for a someone looking for a very healthy family dog!

Overall, cotonpoos are a fun and energetic dog that is going to prove to be the ideal dog for anybody new to owning one. They will cause you relatively no problems whatsoever, and you will be completely swamped by their love towards you.
